6th grade - In loving memory of ...

A celebration of life. Although obituaries are printed upon an individual's passing, 6th graders were tasked to understand that death is not necessarily tragic but a way to appreciate a life. Their first novel of the year, The Five People You Meet in Heaven, shares the story of a man reflecting on the purpose of his life. Through these obituaries, students were encouraged to do the same, reassuring themselves on their place in this world.
