4ABT2 - Valentine’s Day

Everyone brought each other candy and letters,

just like some English-speaking countries’ traditions

In-Class Projects:

4ABT2 - January
Students made boardgames or comics to illustrate concepts of the prehistoric age (up to the Ice Age)

This class’ boardgame received the highest playthrough ratings by both 3rd and 4th grade students. They created an excellent boardgame.

Student Directed Projects:

(passing copies out on the 4th floor) (passing copies out to the elementary staff)

4ABT1 - Ongoing Project
I, as a teacher, was so proud that the ladies in this class decided to form their own journalism club and create the “Daily News” to pass out to all elementary classrooms and staff members – and even to the Principal and Director of PEAI!
They diligently work during breaktimes and before/after classes to publish one every week.
There are many students across grades who come to ask to submit their own stories and read the latest edition.

They’ve even created their own website : https://creative-wombat-h7knl1.mystrikingly.com/
Take a look!

Student’s Notetaking & Binders:

4th grade students in Ms. Bienna's class are encouraged to take more responsibility for their own learning. This includes maintaining an organized binder; writing headers for all of their work with a  name, subject, title, and date; smart-annotating their reading; and writing detailed notes that make sense to themselves to help them study and review for future assessments and projects.

I think these students are on a roll!
