- Implement knowledge of literary forms, theory and history through a wide variety of texts and diverse source material
-Facilitate in-depth discussions of literary content while developing critical and creative thinking skills in an inquiry-based environment

Writing:
-Equip students with proper foundational abilities to promote confidence and motivation in evaluative and analytical writing
-Provide consistent opportunities to further practice and process various writing forms and styles to communicate complex ideas thoughtfully
